Training Staff Larry Goldsmith Mr. Goldsmith has been the proud owner of the Gleason’s School of Gymnastics since 1982. He holds a B.S. from Canisius College and is a member of the College’s Physical Education Department. Larry is a long-time member of the New York State Governing Board for Gymnastics. He is also currently the Regional Junior Olympic Chairman and one of the authors of the new compulsory routines (2005-2012). Larry presented these new routines at the Masters Workshops in Reno, Nevada, and Louisville, KY. He is the Niagara Gymnastics Team head coach and also directs the pre-school and instructional class programs. He holds a National Judges rating for women’s competition. Anita Williams Anita holds a BS in Athletic Training and graduated Cum Laude from Eastern Michigan University in 1999. She was a level 10 gymnast at Gleasons, and has been coaching gymnastics of all levels for 17 years. She is currently the level 3, level 7, and level 8 head coach, and serves as one of two Athletic Trainers at the gym. Anita also asissts teaching at Canisius College with Larry. She is married with a 6 year old and a 3 year old. Kevin Mahoney Kevin holds a B.A. in Political Science, a Masters in Education and a Juris Doctorate, each received from the University of Buffalo. He presently works with the level 7-10 teams at Niagara and is a practicing attorney at Hogan & Willig, PLLC. He and his wife Candi (also a coach) have been blessed with two children – Ryan (5 1⁄2) and Morgan (3 1⁄2). August of this year will mark Kevin’s 21st year coaching. CeCe Black CeCe has a B.S. in Health and Physical Education from SUNY at Buffalo. She has taught P.E. at Maryvale High School, Kensington High School, and PS #57 and has supervised student teachers from SUNY. CeCe has been teaching gymnastics for 28 years and 26 years at Gleasons. She is the mother of 2 sons, 2 daughters and has 10 grandchildren. Both daughters received full tuition scholarships to Ohio State and were Big Ten Champions. While at Gleasons, both won the Empire State Game All-Around Championship – the older daughter, Patty, twice and Debbie three times. Brian Daly Brian holds a bachelor’s degree in education from Buffalo State College. He is currently certified to teach elementary and middle school, as well as high school Earth Science. Brian has been coaching gymnastics for 12 years, and has been at Gleason's for 7. He currently coaches the girls teams (levels 3 through 10) and the boys team. He also teaches the gymnastics course at NCCC and co-teaches at Canisius College with Larry.
